Latest Haul

Here are the products I picked up on my last trip to Superdrugs:

I decided to go back to basics and buy some cheap skincare items recently since Olay and Origins have not been working for me at all. And what do you know, Simple's moisturiser at £2.49 is doing a pretty good job of keeping my skin in check! I also picked up Clean & Clear's shine control daily facial wash which has helped reduce some of my shiny-ness just a fraction. It's also priced £2.49 which I think is pretty reasonable.

I have more neutral shadows then I need (I have the Urban Decay Naked Palette and the MUA Heaven and Earth Palette - 'nuff said) but I wanted a trio or quad to take travelling so I picked up the FAMOUS by Sue Moxley trio. It's just okay really, nothing special. Not pigmented enough to tempt me back in future.

Finally, Bourjois had a 3 for 2 offer going so I picked up 2 foundations - Healthy Mix (because Lisa Eldridge recommended it in one of her videos) and Mineral Matte (which I knew nothing about, spur of the moment makeup splurge that I regret now). I'll do a review and comparison of those 2 foundations soon but just as an overview: I generally dislike Bourjois foundations as I find the colours tend to mismatch my yellow toned Asian skin. Healthy Mix is fantastic though and I think it may soon overtake Rimmel Lasting Finish to become my number one drugstore foundation. The final Bourjois purchase (the freebie) I picked up is the Little Round Pot Intense eyeshadow. I got it in the colour 01 which is a glittery pale yellow.

I didn't like this at all, too much fallout, gritty texture, hardly any colour payoff on the lid. Rubbish. I think the non-glittery colours would be nice but I think that at £6.99 this shade in particular is not worth it at all.

Superdrugs should not have any more offers. I went in looking for MUA Pro (shelves were still not restocked) and ended up with Bourjois foundations I don't need. Gah!
